Accounts Executive

About The Role

DTC Projects is the construction and real estate arm of DTC Group, a diversified conglomerate based in Kolkata with active projects across Rajarhat, Joka, Hatisala, and other sites. We are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive to anchor our day-to-day accounting operations, own statutory compliance end-to-end, and support the Finance team with timely reporting and clean audit trails.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and party settlements
• Post daily accounting entries and maintain accurate, up-to-date ledgers
• Perform bank reconciliation (BRS) and ensure zero pending items at all times
  
  

Statutory Compliance

• Compute, file, and reconcile GST and TDS returns with supporting documentation, strictly within due dates
• Handle Income Tax provisioning, advance tax calculations, and provide documentation support during assessments
• Manage EPF, ESIC, and Professional Tax compliance without lapses
  
  

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Generate MIS reports with actionable financial insights for management review
• Perform costing analysis and variance reporting to support project-level decisions
  
  

Process & Audit

• Develop and implement SOPs for core accounting processes
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors; ensure complete, organised documentation at all times
• Maintain audit trails and records in compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Non-Negotiable

• B.Com degree (minimum)
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in accounts/finance roles
• Advanced MS Excel skills – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formula-building
• Solid, working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisioning
• Experience managing EPF, ESIC, and Professional Tax compliance
• Familiarity with audit processes and statutory filings
  
  

Good to Have

• Prior experience in real estate or construction industry accounting
• Knowledge of online banking operations and digital payment workflows
• Exposure to costing techniques and project-level financial analysis
• CA Inter or M.Com qualification
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify process gaps independently
