Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Manager – Quality with strong expertise in quality control of ferro alloys and minerals, particularly in merchant export houses. The candidate will manage supplier quality, inspection agencies, shipment quality checks, audits, and quality-related disputes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality, audits, quality ratings, and corrective actions.
  
• Monitor quality consistency across different lots and shipments.
  
• Establish and supervise inspection protocols through independent testing/inspection agencies.
  
• Ensure complete quality documentation and QC trail for export and domestic shipments.
  
• Maintain customer-wise historical quality data and support resolution of quality disputes.
  
• Conduct periodic quality inspections of stocks stored for more than one month.
  
• Develop and execute an annual supplier audit programme.
  
• Coordinate with suppliers, inspection agencies, customers, and internal teams on quality matters.
  

Requirements

• Engineering or Science Graduate.
  
• Certification in Quality Management preferred/required.
  
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in ferro alloys/minerals quality control, preferably with a merchant export house.
  
• Experience handling testing/inspection agencies and export quality checks.
  
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
  
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
