Job Description

Conduct eye examinations to diagnose vision problems.
Perform various tests to determine depth and color perception, focus and coordination.
Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids.
Detect and diagnose eye diseases such as glaucoma and cataracts.
Provide treatments such as vision therapy or low-vision rehabilitation.
Educate patients on proper eye care techniques and the importance of regular eye examinations.
Bachelors degree in Optometry or related field.
Valid optometry license in the state of Karnataka.
Strong knowledge of refraction and other optometric skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
