Job Description

The Soft Skills Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering engaging and impactful training sessions that help individuals and teams enhance their interpersonal and communication skills, emotional intelligence, and professional development. This role focuses on identifying the specific soft skills gaps within an organization and tailoring programs to address these areas effectively. The Soft Skills Trainer will work closely with HR departments and management to ensure training aligns with organizational goals and culture. Strong facilitation skills, a deep understanding of adult learning principles, and the ability to connect with diverse audiences are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning and development and will possess the creativity and adaptability to adjust training materials and methods according to learners’ needs.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver customized soft skills training programs for diverse groups of employees.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultation with HR and management.
  • Design engaging course materials and activities that facilitate learning and skill acquisition.
  • Lead workshops and seminars on topics such as communication, teamwork, and leadership.
  • Utilize various training methods, such as role-playing, simulations, and interactive activities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate soft skills training with technical training programs.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to individuals seeking to improve specific skills.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in training and development.
  • Adjust training content and techniques based on feedback and evolving needs of participants.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all participants.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management on training outcomes and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a training or educational role is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and effective training techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to develop engaging and effective training materials and plans.
  • Experience with virtual training platforms and digital learning tools is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster inclusive learning environments.
  • Flexibility and creativity in adapting training methods to suit different learning styles.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
