About The Company - EyeROV

EyeROV, Indias first indigenous manufacturer of commercial underwater drone/ROV, is based in Kochi, Kerala, the heart of maritime activities. EyeROV is a young and dynamic workspace envisioned to bring deeptech and robotics technologies to the space of the Marine and Energy Sector. Within this short span of 7 years, the company has delivered world-class products and solutions to its various clients such as BPCL, DRDO, Indian Railways, Maersk, NHDC, etc... The company is funded by GAIL and BPCL, with Kochouseph Chittilappilly ( founder of V-Guard and Wonderla Group of Companies) as an investor. The company is supported by Maker Village and Kerala Startup Mission.

EyeROV was founded in 2016 by IIT Alumnus Johns T Mathai (IIT Delhi) and Kannappa Palaniappan P (IIT Madras). The company has won numerous awards including National Startup Award 2021 by TDB, Department of Science & Technology, Best Tech Design Award in 2020 by IAMAI (Internet & Mobile Association of India), Selected as one of the Top 6 Startup of the year Indy woods Billionaires Club, Top 8 Industrial Start-up of India from IIGP 2018 organized by Lockheed Martin, MIT, TATA Trust, IIMA and DST and has represented India in USA and Japan for various startup events.

Location: Remote (India/GCC)

Your Roles & Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution: Responsible for achieving the organization’s global sales targets
  • Market research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential partnerships in international markets.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with international distributors, agents, and other key players in the industry.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  • To work with Hydro, Power, Water, Oil & Gas for sales of EyeROV products and solutions
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to revenue realization
  • Creation of techno-commercial proposal for clients, tenders, and other projects
  • Responsible for the post-sales coordination with the Client and Operations team for the execution of work, follow-up for getting payments after work completion, and maintaining customer relationships
  • Reports Directly to the CEO


Skills:

  • Strong understanding of international markets and business practices.
  • Proficiency in CRM
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Active listening skills, highly consultative, and solution-oriented
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder
  • Ability to learn, understand, and communicate technical product requirements
  • Ability to speak fluently in English


Added Advantage

  • Candidates who have worked in ROV or similar product offerings
  • Candidates who have worked in Dams, Bridges, Marine, Shipping, or the Oil & Gas Industry


Experience

  • 5 - 15 years of relevant experience in Sales.


Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering ( Civil/Mechanical) or related degree
  • Should have done B2B technical sales
