Job Overview Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven QA Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The role involves understanding requirements, designing test scenarios, executing tests, and identifying defects. You will work closely with developers and cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements
• Design and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint reviews
• Conduct re-testing and regression testing after bug fixes
• Ensure product quality before release
• Maintain test documentation and reports
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Knowledge of manual testing concepts and techniques
• Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
• Basic understanding of API testing using tools like Postman
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium or Cypress
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
• Understanding of version control tools like Git
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant QA certifications are a plus

Estimated Pay Range:
