Job Description

An Operations Executive is a crucial position within any organization, playing a significant role in overseeing company operations and ensuring efficiency and productivity. Their primary responsibility is to manage and improve the day-to-day operations to ensure seamless functionality across various departments within the company. This role involves coordinating different functions, optimizing processes, and managing resources effectively to meet the business's strategic objectives. The Operations Executive works closely with senior management to align operations with the company’s goals and also liaises with different departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration. They must be adept problem-solvers, capable of making decisions under pressure, and skilled in both strategic planning and operational execution.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily operations to ensure company effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align departmental objectives with overall company goals.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve productivity.
  • Monitor business performance and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Analyze operational data and recommend changes to enhance business performance.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety requirements, and legal requirements.
  • Identify training needs and help design development programs for operational staff.
  • Facilitate communication between management and operational staff to ensure cohesion.
  • Oversee budget management and forecasting to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to manage and optimize supply chain logistics.
  • Lead initiatives to implement new technology to streamline business processes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to update management on operational activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an operations or executive management role for several years.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data effectively.
  • Excellent project management skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with an ability to influence others.
  • Solid understanding of business operations, financials, and performance metrics.
  • Proficient in the use of technology and software systems used in operations management.
