Job Description

The Online Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role within our sales and marketing team, serving as the bridge between our online sales initiatives and our overall sales strategy. This position is responsible for coordinating, managing, and optimizing our online sales platforms, ensuring that our digital storefronts are always performing at peak potential. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and customer relationship management. They will also be adept at using analytics to monitor sales performance, identify trends, and recommend adjustments. The Online Sales Coordinator will work closely with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of our online sales strategies, thereby supporting the company's overall sales targets.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations of the online sales platforms effectively.
  • Develop and implement online sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor online marketplaces and e-commerce website performance metrics regularly.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize online promotions and campaigns.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date product listings across all digital sales channels.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to address online sales inquiries and issues.
  • Work closely with suppliers and partners to manage stock and fulfillment processes.
  • Prepare sales reports and present insights to the management team periodically.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and trends in online sales.
  • Identify and recommend new technologies to enhance online sales capabilities.
  • Coordinate with IT department to resolve technical issues impacting sales operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in e-commerce and online sales coordination.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and online sales strategies is essential.
  • Proficiency with online sales platforms like Shopify, Amazon, or similar tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills for interpreting sales data and market trends.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for team and customer interactions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, yet also as part of a team.
