Job Description

The role of a Maintenance Executive is crucial in ensuring that a company's facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards of operational efficiency and safety. As a Maintenance Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance department, devising strategies to improve machine reliability, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will act as the liaison between management and maintenance staff, ensuring open communication channels and that maintenance activities align with organizational goals. Your expertise will help mitigate risk, reduce downtime, and keep the organization's operations running smoothly. This role requires a proactive approach, meticulous attention to detail, and strong leadership skills to motivate and manage a team of maintenance professionals effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures for optimal efficiency.
  • Oversee the daily operations of maintenance staff and assign tasks effectively.
  • Monitor the performance and condition of equipment and initiate repairs or upgrades.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance logs.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Provide leadership and training to maintenance staff to enhance technical skills.
  • Report to upper management on maintenance activities, progress, and budgeting forecasts.
  • Ensure efficient and effective use of materials, parts, and human resources in maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role required.
  • Strong technical and mechanical skills with knowledge of maintenance systems.
  • Ability to lead and manage a diverse team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all maintenance activities.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize maintenance expenses efficiently.
  • Current knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards in maintenance operations.
