Interior Designer (225-712)

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive design plans that address clients' requirements and lifestyle preferences.
• Meet with clients to define project objectives and understand their style and functionality requirements.
• Create design concepts that balance aesthetics, practicality, and budget constraints.
• Provide professional interior design advice to guide clients' decision-making processes.
• Select appropriate materials, colors, furniture, and fixtures for projects in line with design themes.
• Collaborate with architects, builders, and contractors to ensure adherence to design plans and standards.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for all design elements.
• Ensure all designs are compliant with relevant building codes and regulations.
• Utilize design software to create visual representations and layout models.
• Oversee the procurement and installation of design elements to ensure quality and consistency.
• Present design concepts and progress updates to clients and stakeholders for feedback and approval.
• Continuously research and integrate emerging design trends and technologies into projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional interior design experience preferred.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity in both residential and commercial projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of building codes, safety standards, and ADA regulations.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and functionality.
