Qualifications

Normally 8-10 years' plus experience with a Diploma/Degree in Engineering.

Should be expert in using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM Collaborate Pro, and related BIM tools.

Business Development

Present innovative systems of work to clients/other consultants to demonstrate the company's continuous improvement. Build relationships with other design team members.

Project Role

• BIM Coordination and daily management of BIM project data sets/workflows and project set up
• Develop and maintain BIM workflows, templates, libraries, and best practices to improve project efficiency and consistency.
• Manage interdisciplinary coordination with Architectural, MEP, Facade and Landscape teams to identify, track, and resolve clashes and design conflicts.
• Ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline BIM Modelling.
• Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria
• Monitor project progress, resource allocation, and model development to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Create federated Models and conduct clash-detection/resolution and lead BIM coordination meeting
• Ability to export DWF and other formats for collaboration internally/externally.
• BIM Model Review and documentation.
• Provide technical support for BIM enabling software applications to the project team
• Leveraging BIM software and tools as a methodology to coordinate design documentation
• Prioritize the work in order to meet project deadline.
• Coordination with project lead/inter department/team members for the assigned task.
• Evaluate the project deliverable time and resource with project lead.
• Lead the structural BIM team in delivering high-quality models, drawings, schedules, and project documentation within agreed timelines.
• Support the implementation of ISO 19650 standards, Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows, and information management procedures.
• Coordinate BIM deliverables for authority submissions and ensure compliance with local authority requirements and BIM E-Submission protocols.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete and steel structure modelling practices.
• Facilitate construction teams and contractors by providing accurate, coordinated, and constructible BIM models and drawings.
• Collaborate closely with Structural Engineers to ensure that BIM models accurately reflect the latest design intent and engineering requirements.
• Strong experience in GCC projects and familiarity with regional design and construction practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Participate in client meetings, BIM coordination meetings, and project workshops as required.
• Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
  
  

• Liaise with Design Systems team to ensure changes in procedure and standards are effectively communicated to project teams
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to BIM Modelers and BIM Technicians.
• Thorough knowledge of and compliance with company BIM procedures and standards
  
  

• Understand, implement and follow 9E HSEQ policies.
• Implement and coordinate HSEQ procedures in your workplace.
• Comply with local regulatory authority guidelines and laws pertaining to HSEQ.
• Report any HSEQ incidents immediately to 9E HSEQ Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
• Abide Client/Contractor HSEQ requirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
