Associate

The Associate will play a crucial role in our Production team, responsible for operating the labelling machine and maintaining its smooth operation. This role is integral to our production process, as it ensures accurate and timely labelling of bottles, meeting our quality standards and production targets.

Responsibilities

• Operate the labelling machine according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Ensure proper and accurate labelling of bottles, maintaining the required production speed and quality standards.
• Monitor label positioning, alignment, and appearance, ensuring no wrinkles, damage, or misalignment.
• Conduct regular checks on machine settings and parameters to optimize performance.
• Perform in-process quality checks, reporting any deviations or defects immediately to the Line In-charge or Quality Department.
• Segregate and manage defective or improperly labelled bottles, minimizing wastage and bottle rejection.
• Achieve production targets as per the shift plan, optimizing machine performance and minimizing downtime.
• Support quick changeovers between different SKUs/products, ensuring efficient production flow.
• Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the labelling machine, following SOPs.
• Report any machine malfunctions, abnormal behavior, or maintenance issues promptly to the Maintenance Department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a production environment, preferably with labelling machinery, is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to identify and report issues.
• Good attention to detail, with the ability to identify and rectify labelling errors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production targets and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to report issues and collaborate with the Maintenance and Quality teams.
• Willingness to undergo training and adapt to new processes and procedures.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform basic machine maintenance tasks.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
