Key Responsibilities
Assessment: Perform detailed cognitive, emotional, and behavioral evaluations for patients with conditions like stroke or traumatic brain injury.
Intervention: Deliver evidence-based therapy—such as cognitive rehabilitation or cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)—to help patients adjust and recover.
Teamwork: Work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical staff in a multidisciplinary team.
Family Support: Offer guidance, psychoeducation, and counseling to families and caregivers coping with a loved ones neurological illness.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology depending on regional standards like RCI in India).
Licensure: Active professional registration or license to practice clinical psychology.
Experience: Clinical training or prior work focused on neuropsychology, brain injury, or physical rehabilitation settings.
