Job Overview

The Senior Retail Store Manager will lead all aspects of store operations at our Karur location, ensuring efficient management, strong sales performance, and excellent customer service across all retail functions. This is a full-time, senior-level role requiring 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in the retail industry.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in store management with significant hands-on responsibility for overall operational efficiency (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong retail sales acumen with an ability to strategize and implement initiatives that drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Proven track record in shrinkage control, implementing effective loss prevention policies, and maintaining optimal stock levels to minimize losses.
  • Experience in P&L management, including budget planning, cost control, and in-depth financial reporting to optimize profitability.
  • Exceptional team leadership abilities with experience recruiting, training, motivating, and managing diverse store teams for peak performance.
  • Thorough understanding of store operations, process optimization, visual merchandising, and supply chain management for a seamless in-store experience.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with proven aptitude for building lasting relationships with customers, team members, and management.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in leveraging data and technology platforms to ascertain opportunities for performance improvement and risk mitigation.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end store management, ensuring targeted sales, top-notch customer experiences, and compliance with company standards and policies.
  • Drive sales strategies, promotions, and initiatives to exceed revenue targets and increase market share within the Karur region.
  • Monitor inventory, manage shrinkage control measures, and implement loss prevention programs to safeguard assets and optimize stock levels.
  • Take ownership of P&L responsibilities, ensuring effective budget utilization, cost management, and financial reporting for the store.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the store team through continuous training, performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure efficient execution of store operations, merchandising standards, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues proactively to enhance workflow, staff productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the brand positively in the local community and build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners.
