Job Description
- Assist in conducting internal audits of various business functions, including Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory, Sales, Human Resources, Administration, and Operations.
- Perform biannual stock counts in Upcountry and Karachi.
- Participate in the preparation of the audit program, understanding business processes and identifying key risks and controls.
- Perform process walkthroughs to understand business activities, responsibilities, and control procedures.
- Review business transactions and supporting documents in SAP to assess compliance with approved procedures and authorization requirements.
- Extract and analyze SAP data to identify unusual transactions, exceptions, ageing items, duplicate entries, and other potential control weaknesses.
- Develop an understanding of relevant SAP modules, including FI, MM, SD and related business processes.
- Perform reconciliations and data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for improving system controls and reducing manual intervention.
- Assess compliance with internal policies, management instructions and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Prepare audit working papers, testing sheets, process narratives and supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparing draft audit reports and discussing observations with relevant departmental personnel.
- Participate in monthly follow-up on agreed management action plans and verify implementation of corrective actions.
- Coordinate with auditees to obtain relevant information, documents, and explanations.
- Participate in departmental meetings and other assignments as required.
