Quality Lead

Main accountabilities and responsibilities (including I Care)

• Understanding customer and stakeholder requirements to develop effectual quality control processes 

• Devising specifications for products/ processes 

• Setting raw material requirements for suppliers and monitoring their compliance. 

• Assessing the company's production processes and curating in-house quality policies

• Ensure that the manufacturing processes comply with both local and global production standards  

• Collaborating with quality personnel for the implementation of systems, procedures, and standards of operation 

• Training quality control personnel for building a strong work unit 

• Establishing procedures for sampling, recording and reporting data. 

• Is a role model and accountable for performance & consequence management, coaching and education within their department. 

Experience and qualification requirements 

• University Degree in related field 

• 8+ years working experience 

• 3+ years leadership experience

Functional: 

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (laws and standards), GMPs 

• Application of modern quality tools, statistical methods, root cause analysis, (p)FMEA

• Auditing (internal / supplier), lead auditor qualification

• Method and software validation. equipment qualification 

• Continuous improvement (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) and CAPA 

• Implementation of Quality Control processes/procedures 

• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures, using lab PPE 

• IT systems and software skills such MS Office, preferably SAP 

• Language skills, English
