Execute day-to-day logistics, warehouse, and dispatch operations to ensure timely delivery, inventory accuracy, and high customer service levels while optimizing cost and ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Execution
Plan and execute dispatches using appropriate transport modes (road/air/ocean) to balance cost and service.
Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of finished goods as per customer requirements.
Manage warehouse activities including storage, picking, packing, and material handling.
Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and resolve variances.
System & Data Management
Ensure accurate and timely data entry in SAP/ERP for dispatch, inventory, and transactions.
Maintain documentation and records for audits and compliance requirements.
Generate MIS reports and support performance tracking.
Customer & Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with customers, transporters, and internal teams for smooth dispatch operations.
Address customer queries and resolve service issues through root cause analysis.
Track vendor performance and support improvements.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to regulatory and shipment-specific compliance requirements.
Support safe warehouse operations and follow safety guidelines.
Assist in audit readiness and compliance documentation.
Cross-functional Coordination
Work closely with Production for packing readiness and dispatch planning.
Coordinate with Customer Service for order execution and delivery schedules.
Support continuous improvement and WCM initiatives.
