Job Description

  • Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and legality.
  • Dispense medications and provide clear instructions on their proper use.
  • Counsel patients on medication dosage, side effects, interactions, and storage.
  • Monitor patient medication therapy and identify potential drug-related problems.
  • Maintain accurate patient medication records.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, storing, and monitoring medication stock.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and pharmacy policies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff where applicable.
  • Participate in health promotion activities such as immunization programs and medication awareness campaigns.
