Business Analyst-Industry Markets | Data & Insights

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst- Data & Insights (Industry Markets) will play a critical role in analysing and interpreting analysing multi-channel data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and drive business performance. This individual will work closely with stakeholders within BMC teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:

• Works with business stakeholders to understand their needs and define data and reporting requirements.
• Consulting with multiple industry stakeholders around tagging and tracking of assets.

Insights Strategy

• Collects and interprets data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Coordinating with multiple stakeholders on pre and post campaign analysis
• Uses tools and techniques to analyse data and produce actionable information.
• Recommends changes to business practices based on data-driven insights.

Project Management:

• Manages data-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including BMC marketing and product development to ensure alignment and maximize impact.
• Liaising with various stakeholders on new AA implementation requirements.

Continuous Learning and Development:

• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in data analytics and business intelligence.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in marketing analytics, bringing innovative ideas and best practices to the team.
• Continuously improve technical skills and business acumen.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Acts as a liaison between the M&I team and BMC Industry Markets teams.
• Communicates complex data concepts and findings in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical business stakeholders.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensures that data handling and analysis comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Expertise across prominent marketing analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics / Google Analytics, Marketo, Target, Search Console, Sprinklr etc
• Strong proficiency with analytics software and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Consulting with multiple industry stakeholders around tagging and tracking of assets.
• Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for uncovering insights that drive business growth.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Strong understanding of email marketing and CRM systems, plus Marketing Automation
• Experience on PowerApps, SharePoint, Azure, and other planning and automation tools
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Strong understanding of email marketing and CRM systems, plus Marketing Automation
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of social marketing with in-depth knowledge on paid, earned, owned.
