Job Description
The Junior R&D Costing Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the Research and Development team by developing and implementing cost-effective strategies for both new and existing products. This position requires a keen understanding of cost structures and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure financial efficiency. The specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate cost allocations and preparing detailed cost sheets for various R&D projects. A strong focus on cost optimization is essential, as the role involves identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and providing actionable recommendations. The specialist will also assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring project costs to ensure alignment with financial objectives and timelines. Regular preparation of cost reports and collaboration with business units to drive cost reduction initiatives are key components of this role.
