Job Accountabilities

Facilitate environment management system at KGD6. Facilitate compliance of legal, statutory and other requirements with respect to Environment applicable to KGD6 site. Facilitate implementation of improvement Schemes. Enhance environment awareness amongst employees by conducting programmes to all employees of KGD6. Conduct audit of systems and equipment related to environment management, once a year and communicate the findings

• Facilitate implementation of Environmental systems and procedures.
• Facilitate environmental monitoring of onshore and offshore assets and assessment of impacts.
• Analyse the performance of environmental systems at OT, Vakalapudi and Mud Plants.
• Suggest improvement schemes to improve environmental performance
• Conduct environmental inspections/audits and communicate the findings. Facilitate closure of findings.
• Conduct awareness programs to employees on environment
• Organize environmental campaigns for employees and on the occasion of World Environment Day
• Facilitate renewal of consent and authorization under Air Act, Water Act and Hazardous waste rules.
• Facilitate renewal of bio-medical waste authorization for OHC and PHC.
• Prepare environmental procedures in line with legal and other requirements
• Prepare environmental monitoring plan for the KGD6 facilities.
• Facilitate data acquisition for Sustainability reports for all facilities at KGD6 under GRI guidelines.
• Prepare GHG inventory report year on year and suggest opportunities for improvement.
  
  

• Ensure timely filling of battery returns for OT, Vakalapudi and Mud Plant to APPCB.
• Submission of Half Yearly compliance reports on compliance of conditions of EC & CFO for OT, Vakalapudi and Mud Plant CFO compliance to APPCB.
• Submission of Annual environmental statements for OT, Vakalapudi and Mud Plant to APPCB
• Submission of Annual Hazardous & E- waste returns for OT, Vakalapudi and Mud Plant to APPCB.
• Submission of Annual Bio-medical waste returns of OHC to APPCB.
  
  

• Knowledge in Environmental regulations applicable to onshore/offshore operations and permit requirements
• Knowledge in Environment Monitoring of onshore/offshore facilities
• Knowledge in GRI guidelines and sustainability data collection
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and its requirements
• Awareness w.r.to preparation of EIA reports
• Degree in Environmental engineering or Chemical engineering with diploma in environment
• Knowledge of safety management at work site desirable.

• Overall Experience: 5-7 Years in environmental management of any industry
• Specific Experience: 2-3 Years of experience in Oil and Gas, Hydrocarbon refinery or Petrochemical sector
