KBR is looking for Safety officer to carry out Safety inspection to equipment, tools, and working conditions to ensure safety of workers engaged in Oil & Gas Facilities

Responsibilities

• Inspects equipment, tools, and working conditions to ensure safety of workers engaged in Oil & Gas Facilities: Inspects safety belts, ladders, ropes, rubber goods, and tools and replaces those not meeting safety requirements.
• Observes crews at work and reports laxity in safety precautions, such as failure to use goggles, rubber gloves, and other safety devices.
• Examines conditions of ditches and tunnels and recommends use of braces to prevent cave-ins endangering workers. Investigates accidents to determine causes and devises preventive measures. May instruct workers in use of safety equipment and safe work methods.
• Make sure for compliances of all safety procedures.
• Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions
• Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.
  
  

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – High School.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to safety
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skill
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems
• Strategic management skills
