About the Role

The DefenceAcquisition Manager is responsible for identifying and acquiring Defence institutions to drive liability sales and deepen wallet share across retail banking products. This role involves executing strategic campaigns, managing institutional relationships, and ensuring consistent inflows through salary and pension credits. The incumbent will work across multiple locations, collaborating with internal teams to deliver customized solutions and meet business targets while adhering to regulatory and internal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire Defence institutions to initiate liability sales opportunities.
  • Drive sales and business development activities across acquired institutions.
  • Ensure regular salary and pension credits for onboarded clients, meeting minimum thresholds set by the bank.
  • Monitor book growth bi-weekly, tracking inflows and outflows.
  • Maintain and publish sales dashboards for business heads.
  • Acquire corporate salary accounts and generate fee-based revenue.
  • Acquire TASC (Trust, Association, Society, Club) accounts from the defence segment.
  • Execute referral campaigns to drive efficient and quick conversions.
  • Implement strategies defined by the bank and ensure alignment with monthly productivity targets.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to customize products and services for the defence segment.
  • Design and execute campaigns tailored to defence institutions.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

Education

  • Graduation: Any discipline (Full-Time)

Experience

  • Relevant experience in retail banking, preferably in institutional acquisition or Defence segment engagement.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong business development and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and execution capability.
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on service excellence.
  • Familiarity with retail liabilities, assets, and wealth management products.
  • Proficiency in managing dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Fluent in English with strong business communication skills.
