Job Purpose

Thejob role of aMechanical / Maintenanceengineeris tobe responsible for the entire maintenance activities (Mechanical)taking place in the plant to ensure smooth and continuous production. This job also required mandatory compliance with the Saint Gobain Group safety standards.

Principal Accountabilities:(Business/People/Customer/ Process)

Exposure To

• Handling of heavy machineries like Crushers, Ball Mills, Hammer Mill, Rotary Dryer, dynamic separators.
• Responsible for department related safety and environment management system.
• Responsible for Preventive, Predictive & Breakdown maintenance of Plant & machines like mixer, pumps, blowers, compressor, belt & roller conveyor, Crusher, Ball Mill, Raw Mill, fans, screw conveyor, dust collector, chiller, LNG Station, STP, troubleshoot related to maintenance issues etc. Route cause analysis, Regular inspection/ monitoring of all Static/Rotating/ Running equipment andImprovethe reliability and availability of the plant.
• Responsible for utility equipment’s operation & maintenance likeNon IBRBoiler, Thermic fluid Heaters, Heat exchangers. Chilled water systems, cooling water systems, compressed air system, centrifugal Pumps, positive displacement pumps, and fire hydrant systems.
• Material Handling Equipment likeforklift,loader, belt conveyor,roller conveyors, screwconveyors and bucket elevators.
• Responsible for Planning monitoring and timely execution of mechanical related work with high efficiency.
• Responsible Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary
• Responsible for maintenance materials, spares parts & inventory control.
• Handling pollutioncontrolequipmentlike Pulse Jet Dust Collector.
• Handling a team of fitters, contract workmen, outsourced jobs & AMC personnel.
• Responsible for report generation as per the group standardsand policies
• Responsible for plant maintenance and manpowerplanning.Responsible to bring improvements in equipment through WCM projects, Total Productive Maintenance.
• Accountable for 5S, QC, Kaizen, LOTO, MTTF, MTTR & OEE Tools usage in department.
• Responsible for department SAP PM order compliance.
• Responsible for department IMS (45001 & 14001) audit SI, NC & observation implementation

• Experiencedin a Continuous Process Industry like Cement/fertilizers/pulp etc.
