Job Title: Product Manager – Automotive Manufacturing

Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat (Travel to Ahmedabad 1–2 times per month)

Work Mode: Full-Time | On-Site

Salary: upto 13.5 LPA

About The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Product Manager to join a growing automotive manufacturing setup in Jamnagar. This role is ideal for professionals with strong exposure to manufacturing processes, OEM business development, and end-to-end product lifecycle management.

If you have worked closely with Indian OEMs and Tier 1 / Tier 2 suppliers, understand manufacturing operations deeply, and are passionate about bringing products from concept to commercialization — this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete product lifecycle from development to market launch
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure FIFO implementation and operational efficiency
• Oversee manufacturing processes including:
• CNC & VMC Machining
• Sliding Head Operations
• Vertical & Horizontal Moulding
• Hydraulic Press
• Welding & Robotics
• Assembly & Pad Printing
• Develop and strengthen relationships with Indian OEMs and Tier 1 / Tier 2 suppliers
• Identify and develop new B2C product opportunities
• Support brand positioning and market expansion strategies
• Ensure achievement of cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Lead cross-functional coordination between production, quality, sales, and commercial teams
  

Required Skills & Expertise

• 8–10 years of experience in Automotive / Manufacturing / Engineering Industry
• Strong understanding of OEM and Tier customer requirements
• Hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes (CNC, VMC, Moulding, Robotics, Welding)
• Proven experience in OEM Business Development
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• Strong costing, commercial, and negotiation skills
• Experience in market development strategy
• Leadership and team coordination capabilities
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & FIFO systems
  
  

Preferred Profile

• Experience working with large automotive component manufacturers is highly preferred (Minda Corporation LTD)
• Exposure to B2C product development will be an added advantage
• Hindi communication skills are essential
