SECTION II: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To perform job planning related to applicable instrumentation system maintenance activities at site in order to ensure seamless and smooth operations while adhering to statutory compliance and organisations policies
SECTION III: JOB ACCOUNTABILITY
Execute Instrumentation Maintenance tasks of DCS ,PLC, Analysers & Field Instrumentation etc. with quality
Review maintenance activities, and prioritize critical jobs. Carry out scheduled and chance based maintenance of instrumentation equipment.
Ensure compliance to standards, procedures and best practices
Conduct regular Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Assist Manager in spares inventory management to maintain stock levels & issuing Spares for job execution.
Assist Manager in procurement and follow up with vendor, purchase and stores.
Assist Manager in shutdown planning, budgeting and execution.
Carry out risk assessment and adhere to all the safety norms in routine and shutdown jobs.
Prepare audit related documents for manager
Participate in Reliability & Integrity studies as identified
Conduct obsolescence management
Collate data for performance monitoring and reporting
Implementation of recommendations
Execute PM/PdM schedules
Carry regular LLF visits in the plant to identify potential failures
Maintain history/ records
Weekly preparation of maintenance KPIs of Instrumentation.
Maintaining IMS documents for Instrumentation Maintenance
Providing technical guidance, training to sub ordinates.
SECTION IV: SUCCESS METRICS (TOP 3-5 KPIs)
Statutory compliance of resampling of legal metrology act in iRCMS system - Completion of the Shutdown Instrumentation jobs as per planning - Compliance to HSEF trainings and targets
SECTION V: OPERATING NETWORK
Internal: - Human Resource, Administration, Workshop, Planning, Security, Plants Maintenance etc.
External: - Vendor, Equipment Manufacturers, Service Engineers, Contractors, etc.
SECTION VI: KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES
Education Qualifications
Full Time Engineering degree (Instrumentation)
Experience (Must Have & Good to Have)
Up to 3-5 years of experience for degree in industrial / Instrument maintenance field -Two years hands on experience is preferred
Functional / Behavioural competencies required to execute the role
Functional Competencies
Knowledge of various codes and standards - Domain Knowledge of Instrumentation Engineering - Instrumentation workshop practices
