Manager Design And Engineering - Structural

Role description

Main Purpose of the Job:

 a)       Design and engineering of an integrated steel plant covering the following:

 • Conceptualization

• Basic Engineering

• Detailed Engineering

• Design & Engineering – Monitoring & Control

b) Documentation and record maintenance of engineering deliverables & reference documents.

Key Accountabilities: 

·      Clear understanding of Civil / Structural/Architectural engineering standards, practices, design criteria, calculations etc.

·         Delivery of structural design and detail drawing as per project time frame & standard.

·         Preparation of technical specifications

·         Coordinate with technology suppliers, equipment vendors and other inter-departments for design & engineering

·         Assistance in Value Engineering

·         Participate in 3D model reviews of respective areas to check and comment 3D models.

·         Conceptualization, Basic & detail engineering

·         Coordinate with technology suppliers, equipment vendors and other departments (D&E, P&C, BU, CP) for completion of deliverables ensuring first time right.

·         Value engineering, implementation of best practices, fit for purpose design meeting the standard/ norms requirements.

·         Capture and implementation of learnings.

Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech)/Equivalent in any Civil Engineering
