WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for a Video Editor Intern who is passionate about storytelling through video and has a strong eye for visual details. You’ll work closely with our creative and content teams to transform raw footage into engaging, platform-ready content—from product and campaign videos to short-form reels—while helping bring SAADAA’s simplicity and purpose to life.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

• Edit raw footage into engaging videos for Instagram, YouTube, Meta Ads, and other digital platforms.
• Create short-form content such as reels, teasers, product videos, and social media edits.
• Work closely with the creative, content, design, and marketing teams to understand briefs and translate ideas into compelling visual stories.
• Add transitions, text overlays, sound effects, music, and other elements to enhance the overall video.
• Perform basic colour correction, colour grading, and audio adjustments to maintain consistency and quality.
• Select and organize the best footage to create engaging narratives.
• Repurpose long-form content into short-form assets for different platforms and formats.
• Ensure videos are edited according to platform-specific requirements and brand guidelines.
• Organize and maintain video files, project assets, and editing workflows.
• Manage multiple editing tasks and deliver projects within timelines.
• Stay updated with emerging video trends, editing styles, and social media formats.
• Assist with shoots when required and understand how footage can be captured effectively for editing.
  
  

• 0–1 year of experience in video editing; freshers with relevant skills or a strong portfolio/showreel are welcome.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Good understanding of video editing, pacing, transitions, composition, and storytelling.
• Strong visual sense with an eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
• Comfortable editing content for social media, especially short-form videos.
• Basic understanding of colour correction, audio, and motion elements.
• Willingness to experiment, learn, and explore new editing techniques.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment.
• Portfolio/showreel is preferred.
