QA Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional and regression testing, integration testing, and API testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Perform cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility across various platforms and devices.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Implement QA automation using Katalon Studio or similar tools.
• Collaborate with development teams in an Agile management experience environment to identify and resolve defects.
• Utilize Jira for tracking defects and managing test cases.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Maintain documentation of test results and provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA and testing methodologies.
  
  

• 5-8 years of experience in QA engineering.
• Strong expertise in functional testing.
• Experience with regression and integration testing.
• Proficient in API testing (Postman, SoapUI).
• Experience with QA automation tools (Katalon Studio preferred).
• Familiarity with Agile management experience methodologies.
• Proficient in using Jira for test management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of the annuity/insurance domain.
  
  

• Exposure to AI in testing processes.
• Experience with cross-browser testing tools.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in QA or testing methodologies are a plus.
