The Program Lead will be a central figure in translating the schools vision into daily practice. This is a leadership position responsible for co-creating and guiding the schools curriculum design, teacher training, teacher recruitment, student admissions, and outreach strategies. The role requires a person who can bridge academic excellence with community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Design and Implementation: Collaborate with the Principal and teachers to prepare a transdisciplinary, value-integrated curriculum. Ensure alignment with the NCF 2023 and other best practices in child-centered methodologies. Lead the development of student portfolios, learning modules, and assessment rubrics.
Teacher Training and Development: Advise teachers on unit planning, real-world projects, and interdisciplinary integration. Design and lead induction programs, ongoing workshops, and in-class coaching. Facilitate professional learning communities focused on creative pedagogy and emotional well-being.
Teacher Recruitment and Onboarding: Work with the Principal to identify, interview, and select teachers who align with the schools vision and values. Create a mentoring and professional development pathway for each teacher.
Admissions and Student Selection: Guide parents through the school orientation process and communicate the schools philosophy and expectations.
Outreach and Community Engagement: Collaborate with the CEO and Principal to organize awareness campaigns, webinars, and community events. Represent the school in educational forums to build credibility and curate content to communicate the schools unique vision.
Leadership and Strategic Cooperation: Build a culture of collaborative planning, reflective learning, and personal growth. Contribute to strategic reviews, policy design, and long-term planning.
Skills and Qualifications:
Required:
Strong alignment with the schools core values.
Experience in curriculum design and progressive pedagogy (project-based, experiential, transdisciplinary).
Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to guide both adults and children with sensitivity.
Comfort with a residential, community-based lifestyle.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi.
Preferred:
Training or exposure to methodologies such as Cambridge Methodology, NCF 2023, SEL, Design Thinking, or Systems Thinking.
Background in teacher training, curriculum development, or whole-school pedagogical management.
