Job Description
- Manage overall plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Monitor and ensure adherence to production schedules and budgets
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize resource utilization
- Collaborate with senior management to align plant operations with business objectives
- Prepare and present operational reports to stakeholders
A Successful Plant Head Should Have
- A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Proven experience in plant management within the FMCG or consumer durables sector
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to develop and execute operational strategies effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
