Role Overview
We are looking for a Performance Management Specialist who will play a critical role in building, managing, and improving the organisation’s performance management systems and goal-setting frameworks.
This person will be responsible for driving the complete PMS process through automated tools such as Keka/ERP systems, designing performance metrics, validating data accuracy, coordinating with managers and leadership teams, and ensuring alignment between company, departmental, and individual goals.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, process orientation, and the ability to translate business objectives into measurable KPIs and workflows. WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Performance Management System (PMS)
Manage end-to-end PMS cycles including annual, quarterly, and monthly goal-setting processes.
Coordinate performance reviews, appraisal cycles, feedback collection, and tracking across departments.
Work closely with leadership and reporting managers to define and align company, departmental, team, and individual goals.
Ensure timely closure of PMS workflows and adherence to review timelines.
KPI Design & Performance Metrics
Design, structure, and implement measurable KPIs, scorecards, and performance metrics across functions.
Understand business numbers, calculations, formulas, and target-setting methodologies.
Validate performance data, calculations, and achievement percentages with high accuracy.
Build role-wise KRAs/KPIs aligned with business objectives and operational goals.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Prepare PMS dashboards, reports, trackers, and performance analytics for management review.
Analyze team and individual performance trends and identify improvement opportunities.
Generate insights related to productivity, target achievement, performance gaps, and efficiency.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and reports.
HRMS / ERP & Workflow Automation
Manage PMS processes through HRMS/ERP platforms such as Keka.
Configure workflows, automations, forms, review structures, and approval hierarchies within the system.
Identify opportunities for workflow automation and process improvement.
Coordinate with internal teams for tool optimization and implementation of new performance processes.
Performance Enablement
Work with managers and teams to ensure clarity on goals, expectations, and evaluation metrics.
Support departments in achieving targets through structured reviews, follow-ups, and performance tracking.
Drive accountability and continuous improvement culture across the organisation.
Assist managers with calibration discussions, performance documentation, and improvement plans where required.
Process Improvement & Governance
Continuously improve PMS frameworks, review structures, and reporting systems.
Build SOPs, process documents, and standard guidelines related to performance management.
Ensure transparency, consistency, and fairness in evaluation processes.
Support strategic HR and business decisions through data-backed performance insights.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
3+ years of experience in Performance Management, HR Analytics, HR Operations, or similar roles.
Strong understanding of PMS frameworks, KPI/KRA design, goal-setting systems, and appraisal processes.
Strong analytical and numerical ability with expertise in calculations, reporting, and data validation.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools.
High attention to detail, ownership, and ability to manage confidential performance data professionally.
