We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented HR Generalist with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition and Recruitment. Approximately 70% of the role will be dedicated to end-to-end recruitment, while the remaining 30% will cover HR operations, employee engagement, performance management support, compliance, and other generalist HR activities.
The ideal candidate should have strong sourcing and stakeholder-management skills and be comfortable managing multiple vacancies while also supporting day-to-day HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition – 70%
Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from manpower requisition to candidate joining.
Understand hiring requirements and prepare/update job descriptions in coordination with hiring managers.
Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, consultants, and other sourcing channels.
Conduct initial screening and HR interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, compensation, notice period, and overall suitability.
Coordinate technical/functional interviews with hiring managers and ensure timely feedback.
Build and maintain an active candidate pipeline for current and future hiring requirements.
Handle salary discussions, offer negotiations, offer-letter coordination, and candidate follow-ups.
Maintain regular engagement with selected candidates to minimize offer dropouts and no-shows.
Coordinate joining formalities and ensure a smooth transition from candidate selection to onboarding.
Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and hiring documentation.
Monitor key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, offer-to-joining ratio, source effectiveness, open positions, and recruitment turnaround time.
Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and external hiring partners, where required.
Support employer-branding and recruitment initiatives to attract quality talent.
Ensure hiring activities are completed within agreed timelines and manpower budgets.
HR Generalist Functions – 30%
Employee Onboarding & Documentation
Coordinate new employee onboarding, induction, documentation, and employee-file management.
Ensure employee records and HR databases are accurate and updated.
HR Operations
Support attendance, leave, probation, confirmation, transfers, employee movements, and exit processes.
Coordinate with payroll/finance teams by providing required employee information and monthly inputs.
Employee Engagement
Support employee engagement activities, celebrations, communication initiatives, and employee-connect programs.
Assist in addressing routine employee queries and concerns.
Performance Management
Support performance review and appraisal processes.
Coordinate probation reviews, confirmation processes, goal-setting documentation, and performance-related records.
Policies & Compliance
Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and organizational guidelines.
Maintain required HR documentation and support statutory/compliance-related activities as applicable.
Exit Management
Coordinate resignation acceptance, exit interviews, clearance processes, and full-and-final settlement documentation with relevant teams.
Analyze employee exit feedback and share relevant trends with HR management.
HR MIS & Reporting
Prepare and maintain HR MIS and periodic reports covering recruitment, headcount, attrition, attendance, and other HR metrics.
Support HR audits and management reporting as required.
Candidate Profile
Education: MBA/PGDM in HR / Human Resources or equivalent qualification preferred.
Experience:2–5 years of relevant HR experience, with significant hands-on experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
