• Responsible for Managing Imports & having additional knowledge of Export compliance for organisation.
• In Charge for Inbound Material Logistics Transactions, specifically Import Supplier & Domestic suppliers.
• Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
• Selection of CHA’s, Freight Forwarders and Carriers as per Organization Need and to negotiate best commercial for Safe & Quality transactions.
• Evaluate, budgets and controlling ongoing actual Logistics expenses.
• To ensure implementation of Exim & FTA regulations for multiple BU’s Imports /Exports.
• Complete Control on import clearances within free period and timely availability for import clearance items.
• Guide freight forwarders and CHA’s to ensure trade compliance.
• Co-ordination with Banks for LC documentation, processing E-BRCs
• Co-ordination with Insurance, Inspection Agencies
• Monitoring & periodic communication to stake holders on advance License/Certification.
• Handling Compliance and all activities related to Export house certificate with DGFT, Annual Turnover certificate from CA for DGFT, Factory stuffing permission with Customs, Renewal of RCMC with Export promotion council.
• Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for team members & Internal stakeholders.
• Exceptional planning and analytical skills.
• knowledge of international logistics & shipping lanes.
• Independent handling of responsibilities.
• Co-ordinate with Corporate Affairs dep’t in New Delhi for cases represented to DGFT, various Ministries, CBIC, others for a favourable response within the required timeframe.
• Prepare replies and attend Personal hearing with officers at DGFT’s office for resolution of audit and other queries and to expedite closure.
• Application for SIMS, NFMIMS, CHIMES required by Customs for clearance of goods (wherever needed). Online COO (REX system) applications on DGFT portal.
• Prepare MIS reports in the required format periodically.
• Submission of the redemption certificates with customs authorities for bond cancellation.
• Ensuring fulfilment of Export obligation to minimize payment of duty and interest due to shortfall in fulfilment.
• Through knowledge & implementing experience of Export, Import, EOU, Export Trade promotion schemes in EPCG.
