Job Purpose

To handle various responsibilities pertaining to Regulatory Compliance with respect to EMF/SACFA/WPC/MRO/TRAI/ TERM for existing network and new Technology upgradations.

Key Result Areas / Accountabilities

• To ensure 100% regulatory compliance with respect to SACFA/WPC/EMF/MRO/ TRAI/TERM for all existing cell sites and new rollout/Technology upgradations
• EMF self-certification on NEP portal for New rollout as well as upgradations and OTS
• To ensure timely submission of Triennial EMF self-certification as per DoT guidelines
• EMR Testing audit with TERM Cell officials and ensuring compliance. Coordination with industry peers /IP vendors for EMF compliance and field level testing.
• Liaising with TERM Cell officials and other regulatory agencies
• SACFA Application, clearance for all sites all technologies. Coordination with central regulatory team & WMO team for audit & clearances.
• To ensure phasewise MRO completion for different frequency bands as per the NIA guidelines. End to end responsibility for completion of MRO till final certification issuance by TERM Cell
• Providing various Network related Data requirement by Regulatory agencies related to NBM portal, Rural coverage, Fiberized BTS, disaster management, PQ response etc.
• Prepare, Analyze & ensure timely submission of monthly reports to DoT TERM Cell
• Monthly & Quarterly TRAI reports submission includes QSD_QTD, BTS matrix, Data QoS, PMR reports etc. Validation of reports, coordination with internal teams for this.
• Quarterly TRAI OADT compliance testing and TERM QoS testing. Plan, coordination, report validation and submission within timelines.
• New technology trial license application on Saral Sanchar portal
• Opex budget – Preparing yearly OPEX budget requirement for regulatory compliance activities, tracking of actual spend, GRN and payment approvals etc.
• Regular coordination with Circle Regulatory & Nodal officer, corporate regulatory team. Maintaining the data related to Test fees, DN, SCN and the SACFA application fees etc.
  
  
  

• Sound knowledge of regulatory compliance rules and regulations, DoT guidelines changing from time to time.
• Sound knowledge & experience in handling of EMR testing, NEP portal, EMF compliance methods, TEC Test procedure & the EMR measurement NARDA tool.
• Experience of handling SACFA/WPC application and corresponding approval process, SARAL Sanchar portal
• Experience of handling rollout obligation compliance (MRO) for different spectrum bands as per NIA conditions
• Sound knowledge of TRAI norms related to quality benchmarks and the various TRAI reports, OADT compliance etc.
• Liasoning with Govt. officials. Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills
• Proficiency in preparing MIS / reports
• Quick learner, knowledge on change in technological trends
