Senior Product Designer Maternity Leave Cover

Alta is building the AI GTM System of Actions: a single, coordinated system where AI agents orchestrate companies entire pipeline, from first signal to booked meeting, learning from every interaction to continuously improve execution.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer with a builder’s mindset, someone who combines strong product and strategic thinking with rapid execution. Someone who knows how to navigate ambiguity, frame the right problems, and turn complex systems into simple, elegant experiences.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, AI-first product environment. You’ll take ownership end-to-end, from problem definition to execution,  working closely with product managers and engineers to shape Alta’s platform during a critical growth phase.

What You’ll Do

• Design end-to-end product experiences, from concept to high-quality UI
• Lead product thinking: research, problem framing, ideation, prototyping, and iteration
• Translate complex problems into simple, intuitive, and elegant solutions
• Work iteratively - ship fast, learn from real usage, and continuously improve
• Use data, product metrics, and user behavior insights to inform decisions
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering to define and ship features
• Balance speed and quality,  knowing when to go deep and when to move fast
• Contribute to and evolve our design system
• Communicate design decisions clearly and influence product direction

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer (B2B SaaS — advantage)
• Strong product and strategic thinking, with the ability to operate in ambiguity
• Excellent problem framing skills, focusing on solving the right problems
• Ability to take ownership and make independent, well-reasoned decisions
• Rapid execution skills with a strong “speed-to-quality” mindset
• An iterative approach,  testing, learning, and improving continuously
• Experience working with product metrics and user behavior analytics
• Ability to simplify complex systems into intuitive user experiences
• Versatility, comfortable moving between high-level flows and detailed UI
• Close attention to detail and strong design standards
• Strong communication skills, able to explain decisions and rationale clearly
• Experience working closely with engineers, understanding constraints while pushing for the best outcome
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

Nice to Have

• Experience designing AI products, automation tools, or agent-based systems
• Experience working with AI design tools (e.g., Figma Make or similar)
• Experience working with and contributing to design systems
• Experience facilitating or participating in design research, sprints, and ideation sessions
• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication (or similar)
