Job Title

Executive Production ( API )

Job Description

Piramal Pharma Limited is seeking an Executive Production for our Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing facility. This role involves overseeing and executing production activities to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality API manufacturing processes.

  • Supervise and execute day-to-day API production operations, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor process parameters, troubleshoot deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain production schedules and quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain production equipment, including reactors, centrifuges, dryers, and other API manufacturing machinery.
  • Prepare and review batch production records, ensuring accurate documentation of all manufacturing steps and data.
  • Participate in process optimization initiatives to improve yield, reduce cycle time, and enhance overall production efficiency.
  • Conduct in-process checks and sampling, ensuring materials and products meet specified quality attributes.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and other departments to resolve production-related issues and support investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
  • Train and mentor junior production staff on operational procedures and safety protocols.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects and lean manufacturing initiatives within the production department.

Job Qualifications

  • Qualification Required : B.Tech / BE Chemical
  • 2-5 years of experience in API production within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and quality systems relevant to API manufacturing.
  • Proven experience with various API production unit operations (e.g., reaction, crystallization, filtration, drying).
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, batch records, and other technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work in shifts as required by production schedules.
