Job Description
Why This Role
Government procurement in India is booming, and Techdome is scaling its public-sector business fast. This isn't a back-office bidding job — you'll own tenders end-to-end, sit close to leadership, and directly shape which government departments and PSUs become long-term Techdome accounts. Your wins are tracked, visible, and celebrated.
You'll also get to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) daily to cut research and drafting time in half — so you spend more energy on strategy and relationships, less on paperwork.
What You'll Do
Track and shortlist relevant tenders on GeM, CPPP, and state procurement portals — before competitors do.
Own the full tender lifecycle: eligibility checks, compliance documentation, EMDs, bid preparation, and online submission.
Prepare technical and commercial bids, proposals, RFP responses, and capability statements that win.
Build lasting relationships with government departments, PSUs, educational institutions, and channel partners.
Generate and qualify new business leads through market research and intelligence.
Manage your own pipeline — prospecting through negotiation and closure.
Track procurement trends and competitor activity to spot opportunities early.
Keep clean, accurate records of tenders and sales activity.
Use AI tools to speed up research, proposal writing, and documentation.
Must-Haves
1–5 years of experience in government tendering / GeM / CPPP — this is non-negotiable, but it can come from a BD, sales, bidding, or tender-desk role.
Hands-on experience preparing tender documentation and submitting bids online.
Comfort managing a sales pipeline: prospecting, proposals, negotiation, closure.
Solid proposal writing and business communication skills.
Strong organizational and stakeholder management ability.
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good online research and analytical instincts.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Nice-to-Haves (Not Required)
Direct experience with government departments, PSUs, or public-sector clients.
Familiarity with vendor registration, digital signatures, or procurement compliance.
Prior use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) for research or drafting.
Awareness of public-sector procurement policy.
Interview Process — Fast-Tracked, Done in Days
AI Interview on our platform, JustInterview.ai (JIA) — at your own convenience.
Leadership Discussion.
No multi-round waiting games. Apply, interview, hear back — quickly.
