How You’ll Help Us Connect The World

As an RF Technician, you will be responsible for design validation, testing, and integration of microwave and mmWave reflector antenna and feed systems. The role involves hands-on work in antenna measurement & ranges (PNF/CNF), RF setup, troubleshooting, Antenna build and ensuring Antenna measurement for R&D activities as part of Microwave systems. You will provide real time solutions to design issues discovered in the manufacturing process and recommend/document the resolution. This role is based in Verna, Goa.

You Will Make An Impact By

  • Assembling reflector antenna feed systems (horns, OMTs, waveguides, sub-reflectors) & dual polarization feed systems.
  • Ensuring proper alignment, positioning, and fixation of feed components using fixtures.
  • Handling precision RF interfaces (flanges, transitions, connectors) ensuring minimal mismatch and leakage.
  • Doing bench level test such as Return loss, VSWR, Insertion loss, IPI test
  • Setting up and operating Planar Near Field (PNF), Cylindrical Near Field (CNF) for testing parabolic reflector antennas and components.
  • Performing antenna pattern measurements & PCB board measurements if any.
  • Configuring RF chains (sources, mixers, cables, probes, horns)
  • Troubleshooting issues like:
    • High insertion loss
    • Poor return loss / mismatch
    • Pattern distortion (due to absorber, radome, or alignment)
  • Identifying root causes in:
    • RF cables, connectors, adapters
    • Feed systems (horns, OMTs, waveguides, filters)
    • Measurement setup errors
  • Operating and maintaining:
    • Anechoic chambers
    • Positioners and scanners
    • RF instrumentation (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generators)
  • Ensuring chamber performances & calibration of instruments, Test fixture and tooling maintenance
  • Generating test reports and performance summaries.
  • Supporting outdoor testing antenna validation (if applicable)
  • Handling installation and alignment at field sites/Travel required
  • Performing link-level validation for RF systems & Maintain test logs, calibration records, and reports
  • Following RF lab safety and measurement standards
  • Doing CFT coordination with RF, Mechanical and process team.
  • Supporting Trial Builds (TB), including BOM and drawing verification.
  • Assisting in fixture design reviews, assembly, trials, and GRR qualification.
  • Preparing Trial Build documentation and Work Instructions (MPS & STM)
  • Training operators on new product processes and critical quality points.
  • Implementing ECN
Required Qualifications For Consideration

  • Diploma in ECE / Electrical Engineering / Telecommunication Engineering with 5 Years of experience OR
  • B.E in ECE / Electrical Engineering / Telecommunication Engineering with 3 Years of experience.

You Will Excite Us If You Have

  • Strong understanding of:
    • Microwave / mmWave RF fundamentals
    • Antenna theory (gain, polarization, radiation patterns)
    • Waveguides, coaxial systems, connectors
  • Experience with Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) ,RF cables and calibration, Antenna measurement systems like Positioners and antenna scanners
  • Experience handling precision RF components
  • Cable routing and RF hygiene practices
  • Basic scripting (Python / MATLAB) & PCB testing
  • Understanding of near-field to far-field transformation
  • Exposure to production environments
