Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Shopify App Integration Specialist to complete the build and final testing of a new Shopify analytics app. The core foundation of the app has already been developed, and your role will be to refine, enhance, and ensure all features function smoothly and accurately. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and deep experience working with Shopify’s app ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. App Refinement & Feature Completion

• Review the existing app architecture, codebase, and functionality.
• Identify gaps, performance issues, or areas needing optimisation.
• Complete remaining features and refine current functions to ensure stability and accuracy.

2. API Integrations:

Set up, integrate, and thoroughly test APIs for major marketing platforms, including:

• Meta Ads
• Google Ads
• TikTok Ads
• Klaviyo
• Other platforms as required
• Ensure secure authentication, accurate data pulling, and reliable sync functionality.

3. Troubleshooting & Performance Optimisation

• Diagnose bugs, data inconsistencies, or errors within the app.
• Implement fixes and enhancements to improve speed, accuracy, and overall app reliability.
• Ensure the app delivers clear, accurate analytics and insights for merchants.

4. Shopify App Store Compliance & Launch Support

• Prepare the app for successful submission and approval in the Shopify App Store.
• Ensure it meets all Shopify security, UX, billing, and documentation requirements.
• Assist in coordinating testing, documentation, and any revisions required by Shopify during review.
• Support the final deployment to ensure a smooth go-live.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience developing and launching Shopify apps (public app experience highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Shopify APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and partner dashboard processes.
• Experience with integrating third-party marketing APIs (Meta, Google, Klaviyo, TikTok, etc.).
• Proficiency in relevant languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, React, Polaris, GraphQL).
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Understanding of data accuracy, analytics models, and secure data handling.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience building analytics or reporting-based apps.
• Familiarity with eCommerce performance metrics and attribution tracking.
