Senior Spotfire Engineer F M X

We are searching for a Senior Spotfire Engineer to support the needs of a high-visibility, large-scale initiative which aims to create a GxP E2E analytical reporting solution that builds a Spotfire dashboard as a front-end tool for businesses to view, analyze, consume & export the data.

You will have to build Complex Analytical dashboards using the Spotfire application along with customizing the reports using SQL, Iron-Python, HTML and CSS.

You will collaborate closely with teams across regulatory operations, analytical development, QC and other business units to maximize the value of our digital platforms.

Your tasks

• Building and maintaining robust Spotfire reports on version 12.0 and above
• Handling complex Spotfire formatting and functional requirements using SQL, IronPython, HTML, CSS, and Java
• Developing dimensional and columnar data models optimized for SQL-based analytics
• Managing Spotfire administration activities, including user access, scheduling, deployments, and migrations
• Leading BI reporting design discussions and translating requirements into effective dashboard solutions
• Profiling, testing, and validating data while resolving data quality issues at the root cause
• Automating monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure data integrity and reliability
• Translating business questions into scalable data warehouse and BI solutions
• Staying current with Spotfire upgrades, TIBCO Community resources, and evolving BI technologies
• Executing technical GxP validation (CSV) by authoring documentation and deploying solutions compliant with 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and internal quality standards
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of overall experience as a developer working on BI reporting, data warehousing, and analytics within cross-functional teams
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience building reports using Spotfire (version 12.0 or higher)
• Proven coding experience with PostgreSQL, IronPython, HTML, CSS, and Java
• At least 6 years of experience performing ETL processes and data transformations using SQL and Python
• Demonstrated experience working in AWS cloud environments
• Strong data modeling expertise, including star, snowflake, data vault, and dimensional models
• Solid problem-solving skills and strong business acumen, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business needs
• Experience using GitHub for version control, code migration, and deployment, along with strong ownership of technical documentation and requirements
• 3–4 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum within GxP-regulated environments, with a strong understanding of data integrity principles (ALCOA+), CSV documentation (URS, FS, DS, IQ/OQ/PQ), and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Kneat, and Veeva
