Senior Automation Tester Cypress

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester with deep expertise in Cypress and strong programming knowledge in Python, C#, Java, and SQL. The ideal candidate will design robust automation frameworks, enhance testing efficiency, and ensure product quality across multiple platforms.

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Cypress and other modern tools.
• Write and execute automated scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#, or Java.
• Perform API, UI, and integration testing.
• Manage and optimize test data and SQL queries for validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and automation coverage.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software testing, with strong automation background.
• Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience with Cypress.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or TestCafe.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing, API automation, and performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave).
