We’re Hiring: Senior Analytics Expert (Hands-On, Team Builder) (Remote)


We’re Invesp — the leading conversion optimization agency in North America. We’ve run over 36,000 A/B tests, helped clients like eBay, 3M, and O’Reilly boost revenue, and we’re on the hunt for a Senior Analytics Expert to build our analytics function from the ground up — starting as a hands-on individual contributor and evolving into the leader of a small analytics team.


This is a fast-paced role that requires strong initiative and ownership. While we value work-life balance, there will be days with long hours, complex clients, and evolving project scopes. You must be comfortable leading without complete information and enjoy making order out of ambiguity.

What You’ll Do:

In your first 90 days, you will:


  1. Standardize client analytics tracking across all accounts.
  2. Build reporting templates for CRO test results.
  3. Audit and fix data accuracy issues in existing tracking setups.


Day-to-day, you will:


  • Own advanced GA4 and GTM setup, including complex event tracking, custom dataLayer configurations, and debugging.
  • Analyze A/B test results and CRO performance metrics, ensuring statistical significance and actionable insights.
  • Provide client marketing analytics across paid ads, email, and funnel performance.
  • Build business intelligence dashboards in Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar.
  • Partner with CRO strategists and developers to ensure clean implementation and clear data storytelling.
  • Explain complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders — both internally and in client meetings.


What We’re Looking For


Must-have technical skills:

  • Advanced GA4 setup and reporting
  • Advanced GTM (custom events, dataLayer, complex triggers)
  • Looker Studio and/or Power BI dashboard creation
  • CRO analytics expertise (test planning, statistical significance, experiment analysis)
  • SQL / BigQuery for querying and data modeling (nice to have)


Essential soft skills:


  1. Ability to explain data clearly to non-technical audiences
  2. Leadership and mentoring capabilities
  3. Detail-oriented and accuracy-obsessed
  4. Proactive in identifying insights and opportunities
  5. Diplomatic when pushing back against incorrect assumptions


Other requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience in digital analytics
  • Agency experience preferred, but not required
  • Comfortable being hands-on now while preparing to lead a team
  • Available for client and team meetings between 8am–1pm CST

Working Hours for Candidates Outside North and South America


We welcome global applicants, but this role requires availability for internal and client meetings primarily within North American and European time zones. Your core working hours will be 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, to align with team and client schedules. Occasionally, meetings may fall outside this window (e.g., 2–4 PM CST), and you’ll be expected to attend when needed.


The remainder of your schedule is flexible and can be planned around these core and ad hoc commitments.
