As part of the GIS(FME) team you will be part of the development, design, and delivery of Geographic Information System services to support utility industry clients. As a Senior Associate, you supervise and mentor junior team members, manage diverse perspectives, and foster consensus to achieve favorable results. You integrate strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and successful collaboration to drive GIS initiatives across various client functions, including GIS applications, data conversions, and system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Automated Script Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using languages like Python (ArcPy), Java, or JavaScript. Experience other Test Automation tools (like TOSCA) will be an advantage.
• Spatial Data Validation: Automate data validation and geoprocessing workflows to ensure spatial accuracy across different GIS layers.
• Framework Management: Build and optimize automation frameworks to improve the efficiency of regression testing and continuous integration.
• Functional & Integration Testing: Conduct automated tests for native, web, and mobile GIS applications, including custom add-ins and map services.
• Experience in working with Esri utility Network
• Test Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define test requirements and create comprehensive, well-structured test plans.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software bugs using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps, and perform thorough regression testing after fixes.
• Environment Configuration: Set up and manage virtualized testing environments (e.g., Docker) to replicate production setups and ensure consistent test results.
• ETL Workflow Automation: Manage automated GIS data extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes, including triggers and logging
  
  

What You Must Have

• Minimum of 5 years’ working experience with Esri ArcGIS Software (Enterprise, Desktop, Server, ArcGIS Pro, Online)
• Understanding of ArcGIS Enterprise Architecture- ArcGIS Server, Portal, data Store etc.
• Understanding of ArcGIS Pro concepts: Maps, Projects, Layout templates, Editing Templates, Tasks etc.
• Understanding of Esri geoprocessing tools: model Builder
• Understanding of Geodatabases: Versioning and Spatial data Types
• Automation Tools: Proficiency with Selenium, Jenkins for CI/CD, and specialized GIS scripting libraries like ArcPy.
• Databases: Strong knowledge of spatial databases such as PostGIS .
• Working on ArcGIS on Cloud platform would be an advantage
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to ever-changing situations
• Exemplary problem solver skills and excellent written and verbal communication
  
  

What Sets You Apart

• Experience working in the Utilities domain will be an added advantage, along with domain knowledge specific to Electric or Gas
• Knowledge of Esri Utility Network- Core Principles: SubNetwork, Associations, Containment, Tracing etc.
• In Depth knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and Geoprocessing functions.
• Experience with the Agile methodology and Jira software
• Advanced Excel capabilities
