Executive - Category Operations - Fashion

About The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Executive - Category Operations to manage and optimize the category operations for Apparel, Accessories, Jewellery, Kids, Luggage, Footwear, Sneakers, and Bags at Broadway. The ideal candidate will play a key role in inventory planning, vendor coordination, in-store execution, and sales performance tracking to drive category growth and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Category Execution: Assist the Category Manager in executing category strategies across multiple product segments, ensuring seamless operations and in-store execution.
• Vendor & Brand Coordination: Collaborate with brand partners to ensure timely stock replenishment, promotional planning, and product launches.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, analyze product performance, coordinate replenishments, and manage slow-moving inventory.
• Sales & Performance Tracking: Track and analyze sales data to identify trends, optimize product assortment, and improve sell-through rates.
• Store & Visual Merchandising Support: Ensure proper product display and adherence to VM guidelines in coordination with store teams.
• Promotions & Activations: Support the execution of in-store promotions, category-specific campaigns, and brand activations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Store Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to drive category efficiency.
• Reporting & Analysis: Maintain MIS reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
  
  

• 2-3 years of experience in category operations, merchandising, or retail management, preferably in Apparel, Accessories, Jewellery, Kids, Luggage, Footwear, Sneakers, or Bags categories.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data reporting, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of retail sales dynamics, stock management, and vendor coordination.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage brand partnerships and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a problem-solving and results-driven mindset.
