Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET) – Birla Copper

Location: Gujarat

Role Summary

Diploma Engineer Trainees will undergo structured training in plant operations and maintenance within a continuous copper manufacturing environment, gaining hands-on exposure to core industrial processes, safety practices, and equipment handling.

Key Responsibilities

Support plant operations and monitor process parameters
Assist in preventive & breakdown maintenance activities
Identify and report process deviations and equipment issues
Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Maintain shift logs, reports, and documentation
Ensure strict adherence to Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) norms
Contribute to continuous improvement / Kaizen initiatives

Eligibility Criteria

Diploma in: Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy / Instrumentation / Chemical
Minimum 60% aggregate marks

Key Skills

Basic technical knowledge of industrial processes
Strong learning agility & discipline
Problem-solving and analytical ability
Willingness to work in rotational shifts
Safety-conscious mindset
