Automation Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Strategy & Framework Development:
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for mobile and web platforms.
• Develop best practices, guidelines, and standards for automation tools and frameworks.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies for effective test automation.
• Test Automation Implementation:
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with QA, development, and DevOps teams to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Integration Testing:
• Design and execute integration testing strategies to validate end-to-end workflows across systems and platforms.
• Ensure seamless integration of APIs, services, and third-party components with mobile and web applications.
• Quality Assurance Leadership:
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the QA and development teams on automation best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement of automation coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication:
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define automation goals.
• Communicate test results, automation progress, and metrics to stakeholders.
• Performance & Scalability Testing:
• Contribute to the performance testing strategy for mobile and web applications.
• Ensure automation solutions are scalable and performant across multiple environments and devices.
  
  

• 8+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation for mobile and web applications.
• Proven expertise in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber or similar tools.
• Strong experience with integration testing tools and methodologies (e.g., RestAssured, SOAP UI).
• Hands-on experience in scripting languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar.
• Proficient in testing RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend integrations.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to mentor and guide team members.
