In SAP technology at PwC, you will specialise in utilising and managing SAP software and solutions within an organisation. You will be responsible for tasks such as installation, configuration, administration, development, and support of SAP products and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP HANA Views in Finance & Order Management domains, leveraging both graphical and SQL script-based modeling to create complex, high-performance data models.
  • Develop and optimize SAP BW models, including InfoObjects, ADSOs, and Composite Providers, ensuring seamless integration with SAP HANA.
  • Implement and manage data acquisition processes from multiple sources into SAP BW and HANA using variety of ELT techniques.
  • Perform data transformation, aggregation, and cleansing to ensure data quality and consistency for reporting and analytics.
  • Apply data security and authorization concepts within SAP BW and HANA to protect sensitive information and comply with governance policies.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data load processes, and queries for performance and reliability.
  • Document data models, transformation logic, and security configurations related to BW/HANA models.
  • Stay updated on SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA innovations and best practices to continuously improve data architecture.
  • Mentor Junior resources within the team, conduct KSS and lessons’ learnt.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities by working with clients directly and leading the engagement.
  • Work in a team environment that includes client interactions, workstream management, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Good Team player. Take up cross competency work and contribute to COE activities.
  • Escalation/Risk management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 10-15 years of hands-on experience withSAP HANA and SAP BW modeling in various functional domains.
  • Strong experience in data acquisition, SLT and other ELT techniques.
  • Solid understanding of security roles, authorizations, and data access control.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Understand client requirements, provide solutions, functional specifications and implement technical components accordingly. 
  • Ability to create Technical Design Documents (TDD) and Unit Test documents for the technical solutions being implemented.
  • Excellent Communication, analytical and Interpersonal skills as a Consultant and play a role of team lead or a manager.

  • Experience in Agile methodology, Scrum practices, and working with JIRA/Confluence
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, capable of client interaction and requirement gathering
