Key Responsibilities

Workday Operations :

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for the Workday platform across HCM and related modules.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and resolve functional and operational problems.
  • Configure and maintain Workday business processes, organizational structures, security roles, and system settings.
  • Perform routine system administration, data validation, and user access management.
  • Support Workday tenant management, including testing, maintenance, and release activities.

Functional Support

  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and recommend Workday solutions.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Configure and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and notifications.
  • Assist with Workday releases by reviewing new features, assessing business impact, and implementing applicable enhancements.

Incident & Change Management

  • Investigate and resolve production issues in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage service requests, incidents, and enhancement requests through ticketing systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term solutions for recurring issues.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate system changes before production deployment.

Data Management & Compliance

  • Ensure data integrity through regular audits and validation activities.
  • Support data loads using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and other Workday tools.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Workday technical teams, integration developers, and external vendors to resolve system issues.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and guidance on Workday functionality and best practices.
  • Participate in Workday implementation, enhancement, and optimization projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Workday in an operational or functional consulting role.
  • Strong understanding of Workday HCM and related business processes.
  • Experience configuring Workday business processes, security, reports, and calculated fields.
  • Experience supporting production environments and managing operational support activities.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday certification in HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Compensation, Learning, or another functional module.
  • Experience supporting multiple Workday modules.
  • Knowledge of Workday integrations, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Core Connectors.
  • Experience with Workday releases and tenant management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL service management processes.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

  • Experience working with enterprise HRIS systems and cross-functional teams.
