We are looking for a skilled Windows Automation Engineer with expertise in PowerShell, Ansible, and Windows Server Administration to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks across enterprise Windows environments. The ideal candidate should have strong scripting skills, experience with infrastructure automation, and a good understanding of Windows administration and DevOps practices.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation solutions for Windows infrastructure using PowerShell and Ansible.

Automate server provisioning, configuration management, patching, and deployment activities.

Manage and administer Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).

Automate administrative tasks related to Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, IIS, and File Services.

Develop reusable Ansible playbooks and PowerShell modules for infrastructure automation.

Integrate automation workflows with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

Monitor and troubleshoot automation failures, system performance, and server issues.

Ensure infrastructure complies with security policies, patch management, and operational standards.

Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application teams to streamline deployment and operational processes.

Create and maintain automation documentation, SOPs, and technical guides.

Required Skills

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Strong experience in PowerShell scripting.

Hands-on experience with Ansible for Windows automation.

Strong knowledge of Windows Server Administration.

Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Windows Services.

Experience with WinRM and PowerShell Remoting.

Familiarity with Git and version control practices.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

Knowledge of Windows security, authentication, and server hardening.

Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
